2. Quotes and Estimates
Any estimate we give is based on the information available at the time. If additional faults are found during diagnosis or work, we will contact you for approval before doing any additional work. We will not carry out work you have not approved.
3. Payment
Payment is due on completion of work, before the vehicle is collected. We accept cash, debit card, credit card and bank transfer. Unpaid invoices may incur reasonable storage charges and may, after due notice, allow us to exercise a lien over the vehicle.
4. Parts and Workmanship
We use genuine Mercedes-Benz or quality OE-equivalent parts unless you instruct otherwise. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, on the same fault or component.
The workmanship guarantee does not cover wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, accidents, or subsequent work carried out elsewhere.
5. MOT Tests
MOT tests are carried out in line with DVSA guidelines. The result of an MOT test is the property of the DVSA, not Just Mercedes. We do not benefit from a vehicle failing.
6. Vehicle Storage
If you do not collect your vehicle within 7 days of being notified that work is complete, we may charge a reasonable storage fee. Vehicles are stored on our premises at the customer's risk.
7. Customer Property
Please remove personal items from your vehicle before leaving it with us. Whilst we take reasonable care, we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the work we carried out.
9. Complaints
If you are not happy with our work, please tell us. We will try to put it right. Complaints can be sent to info@justmercedes.co.uk or raised in person at the workshop.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
